When you wish upon a star... or kiss a frog... sometimes a dream comes true! When I saw the information about this contest I had just written a blurb/plot information about a story with the title "Her Prince"
It seemed a little eerie but I love those moments...
It took a HUGE leap of faith to submit the story because I have always seen 1001 Dark Nights as a dream goal.. that Finish Line on a marathon. Still, I pulled up my drawers and turned it in.
The night before I got the email, I was in the middle of writing something and a thought popped up... "When did they say we were going to find out about the contest?"
And then when I received the email, I said a quiet prayer that I wasn't about to cry... And then I cried happy tears!
I'm still breaking out in random acts of wiggling or dancing.. and yes, laughter. I apparently have lost the rest of my mind... but I am super excited too!
I really hope that this is just the beginning of more exciting moments and more and more BOOKS! I'll never stop writing... sharing stories and keeping the voices to a dull roar in my head keep me going!
