Q from Linda B. : How do you write such good books?
A: I’m not sure which aspect you’re asking about, so I’ll try to cover the basics.
I’d like to think that all of the years spent writing stories for myself and my friends have paid off. Add in a bunch of reading about the craft of writing. Years and years of writing fanfiction helped me thicken my skin.
Before I started Self Pub’ing in Romance, I was writing and publishing in short form in Western, Sci-fi, Historical, some Gothic fun. Now, I really credit it to my beta readers (Barbara C. & Thuy P.) who not only keep me sane, their questions and sharp eyes help me work through a lot of problems ahead of time and thanks also to my ARC readers who let me know when they find issues… So much love and I’m so thankful for everyone.
Q from Sissy K. : How do you come up with so many awesome stories?
A: I have files and files of story ideas TBW: To Be Written – A whole bunch of different eras, and sub-genres, my mind is usually working and ruminating about several projects at once. And sadly, I can be easily distracted by new ideas all the time. And sometimes I’ll be on the phone with someone or chatting in messenger with someone and WHAM, there’s a new idea… So I will give myself an hour to write down as much as I can on that idea and then go back to the current project. I don’t think I’ll ever run out of ideas, but I’m sure one day I’ll run out of time to write them all.
